Beginners (Lesson Overview)
Playing and fun, those are the two primary objectives with students new to the Drums.

You will learn basic drum patterns, and drum fills to enable you to play along with your favourite tracks, and for your own pleasure.

Using audio and visual learning helps build a solid understanding and foundation on which to progress. This is where the early seeds of a good technique are sown too.

Above all, with new students, the emphasis is on getting those patterns going, being inspired, realising and enjoying the
rewards of perseverance.

As individuals we all have different motivations. We can specifically tailor the learning programme to each person. This
is particularly important with younger students. Achievable goals, structured progression, and quantifiable progress.

For some students it's all about playing for thier own pleasure, for others it may be towards recognised grades - whatever the reason, whatever the motivation - beginners are in safe hands.

Learning to play drums has a far reaching impact and actually enhances learning skills in many other areas.
